These dressings are suitable for use with feeding tube sites (including PEG tubes), thoracic drain sites, suction drain sites, jugular, PIC or arterial catheters. Not suitable for tracheostomy sites.

Direction for use –

to application of the dressing, cleanse the wound as usual with an appropriate wound cleanser or sterile saline, and pat dry the wound edges. Select a dressing that will cover the wound contact area. Remove the sterile dressing from the package. Apply the dressing around the stoma, allowing for any tubing to thread through the pre-cut split. As the dressing absorbs exudate, the foam will begin to swell. Once swelling reaches to within 2cm of the dressing edge, the dressing should be replaced. The dressing is adhesive and can be supported in place with net bandaging. To remove the dressing, gently lift the corners of the dressing away from the wound. Reapply as needed.
