The fluted silicone drain is specially designed to promote efficient fluid movement through its channel system while minimizing tissue adhesion. Unlike traditional suction drains, suction is applied only at the proximal end of the channels, helping prevent omentum from sticking to the drain surface and supporting safer, more reliable drainage. Available in two sizes.
Constructed from soft, radiopaque silicone, the drain offers excellent visibility and flexibility for long-term use. The fluted drainage section measures 20 cm (8 in) with an overall length of 80 cm (32 in), making it ideal for peritoneal dialysis and other passive drainage applications.
Its length-adjustable design allows both ends to be trimmed for customized placement and patient-specific needs. For added versatility, the drain can be paired with a suction grenade for continuous suction or used with one of the collection bag kits for passive drainage during peritoneal dialysis.
