Directions for use –  Prior to application of the dressing, cleanse the wound as usual with an appropriate wound cleanser or sterile saline, and pat dry the wound edges. Select a dressing that will cover the wound contact area. Remove the sterile dressing from the package. Apply the dressing on to the wound bed. If required, the dressing can be moulded and folded to  accommodate any contours in the wound. Cover the calcium alginate dressing with a secondary dressing to contain. Can be left in situ for UP TO 4 days. To remove the dressing, gently lift the corners of the dressing away from the wound. Reapply as needed.
