The LigaSure Atlas™ tissue fusion open instrument (LS1020) is a blunt tip vessel sealer and divider, featuring a 20 cm shaft for use in open procedures.
The LigaSure Atlas™ handset has a 20cm shaft and is designed to fit down a 10 mm cannula. The shaft can be rotated up to 359 degrees via a rotation knob. The ergonomically designed handset provides one-handed operation of grasping, rotation and cutting. Sealing occurs by ratcheting the handle and activating through the purple button on the device or through the LigaSure footswitch.
